Last year made me realize how extremely important our team is to me. The amazing work they have put into making Fantastic Energy what it is today gives me so much joy! I am beyond proud of the whole team and I really can’t wait for you all to test the new features! How can you test the game? Well, for example by joining our beta testers! Over the past few weeks, I’ve been working on setting up a Tumblr account to bring our content to many new followers! If you use Tumblr and would like to follow us there, click HERE to see our blog! I’m also working on another platform, which is currently top secret and you’ll hear about it soon!

I have remade the UI and skill tree for it.



I was a bit busy with other projects this week but I started to design the graphics for the skill tree. I still need to add the skill points somewhere and make it so that it’s clear for the player that which perks they are currently using, which aren’t being used but they can unlock them and which are the ones that they haven’t unlocked and they can’t unlock them yet (if the perk is too far in the tree, for example). I have a few ideas for it but I still need to try them. I also would like to have all the other buttons in the panel like everywhere else in the terminal but I’m still thinking about the placement for them and which buttons are needed. I’ll try to finish this next week.


Finally, I think the monster trivia is done. I’ve also been planning the monsters rarity system with Noora.

Fun fact: All the particle monsters’ names are built with a simple formula. The first syllable comes from the color's Finnish name, and in the end is simply -ticle, from the word particle.

For example: punainen (red) + particle = Puticle


This week I made all the missing 2D sprites of my past assets so they can now be used in the game. After that, I also modeled an Art Easel, which features Joviaal’s concept arts!
